Don’t get involved in people’s drama & dysfunction. There’s a lot of that going on nowadays. As much as they try to engage you, take a step back. If they’re reasonable & open to discussion, you could try advising them. Else, stay clear or you could lose your peace altogether!
It’s better using our precious time on us rather arguing with the blockhead coz on everyone’s mind only they are right. Mental peace is a big thing so sometimes you can win a battle by just remain silent
Forgive and move on. It’s powerful. It’s an act of kindness. It’s the beginning of healing. Yet many refuse to do so, preferring to cling on to grudges, resentment & payback time. It’s not worth it. Life’s too short for all that drama. Just forgive & keep that peace in you.
.
Cleanse your heart.
Let go of grudges.
What’s the point of holding them?
Forgive and move on.
When you forgive, the Almighty will increase your honour.
You’ll feel the burden on your shoulders lighten! 《FORGIVE AND FORGET

A scholar of language and grammar undertook a journey. A river had to be crossed. As was the custom in those days, the scholar hired the boat of a waiting ferryman who took people across the river.
During the journey, the scholar asked the ferryman, with obvious pride and mockery, if he knew anything about grammar and the rules of language.
The ferryman simply replied, “I don’t.”
“Alas!” retorted the rude scholar of grammar, “You have wasted half of your life.”
At this, the sailor was terribly hurt and aggrieved. But he kept quiet. Suddenly the boat was extremely nervous in the high waves and gushing water. “Do you know how to swim, learned Sir?” asked the sailor.
“No!” said the scholar.
The ferryman remarked, “Alas! You have wasted your whole life for the boat is sure to capsize in a few minutes.”
Moral: Knowledge in one branch is not enough to be proud about.
Don’t get discouraged when things don’t happen according to your timing. Pray that the Almighty grants you ultimate patience while you wait. Constantly remind yourself that the longer it takes, the more He has in store for you. You will be surprised & overjoyed with the outcome!
You don’t have to apologise if the answer is no! Be upfront & honest when you say it. Do it for self-care. Many can’t say no because they don’t want to appear rude or ill-mannered; & they’re concerned about the opinion of others. This is harmful behaviour. You’ve got to stop it!
Take life in your stride. Focus on your tasks and don’t get distracted. Leave the rest to the Almighty. Cut out the noise outside and don’t worry about trivial and petty issues. Remember, fitting in, people’s opinions of you etc don’t matter eventually. Life’s too short!
Stop comparing. Start cherishing what you have before it’s taken away from you. Gratitude is key. Be hopeful about what’s coming. Always believe that the Almighty wants good for us. He has blessed us with so much, more than we’ve asked for. Move forward with prayer & firm faith!
Jack, a handsome man, walked into a sports bar around 9:58 pm. He sat down next to this blonde at the bar and stared up at the TV as the 10:00 news came on. The news crew was covering a story of a man on a ledge of a large building preparing to jump.
The blonde looked at Jack and said, “Do you think he’ll jump?”
Jack says, “You know what, I bet he will.” The blonde replied, “Well, I bet he won’t.” Jack placed $30 on the bar and said, “You’re on!”
Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar, the guy did a swan dive off of the building, falling to his death. The blonde was very upset and handed her $30 to Jack, saying, “Fair’s fair… Here’s your money.”
Jack replied, “I can’t take your money, I saw this earlier on the 5 o’clock news and knew he would jump.”
The blonde replies, “I did too; but I didn’t think he’d do it again.”
Jack took the money.
